Travis Carson brings 28 years of experience in heavy civil and underground utility construction and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for the South Central Region at HEI Civil. He has successfully managed projects ranging from $25,000 to $1.66 billion throughout his career.
Starting as a laborer, Travis worked his way up through the industry, gaining hands-on experience across 13 states. His project portfolio includes roads, bridges, subdivisions, data centers, and water and wastewater treatment plants.
Before joining HEI, he spent over a decade as an Estimator, Project Manager, and co-owner of Eagle Rock Underground LLC, overseeing projects from bid to closeout across seven licensed states. One of his most notable roles was as Finish/Grade Superintendent on the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway in Arizona—a $1.66 billion joint venture between Fluor, Ames, and Granite.
Travis joined HEI Civil as a General Superintendent in 2022, where he oversaw all field operations and project execution. Since then, he has contributed to major efforts, such as the 2023–2025 TTX Facebook Meta Data Center, bringing field expertise, strategic insight, and a commitment to excellence that continue to drive HEI Civil’s success in the South Central Region.
