Looking Back: Four Years of Giving on the Greens

news

Building strong communities is just as important as the infrastructure we construct. For the past three years, our Colorado division has gathered partners, friends, and team members for a day of friendly competition with a powerful purpose. As we are preparing for our fourth annual charity golf tournament, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible journey we have had so far.

This tournament has grown into something truly special. It is more than just a day on the course; it is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together to support local causes. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, we have been able to make a tangible difference right here in our backyard.

A Legacy of Generosity

Since our inaugural tee-off, the spirit of giving has been the driving force behind this event. We are incredibly proud to share that over the first three years alone; we have collectively donated $341,969.18 to local organizations.

Every dollar raised represents a commitment to support those who serve and protect our community. This achievement belongs to everyone who has sponsored a hole, played a round, or volunteered their time. It is a powerful reminder that our industry is filled with people who care deeply about making a positive impact.

Supporting Our Local Heroes

Our tournament has always focused on uplifting organizations that provide vital support to our neighbors. We have had the privilege of partnering with some truly remarkable groups.

Honoring Veterans and Officers

In our first and third years, we directed our support to the Douglas County Veterans Monument Foundation. Their work ensures that the sacrifices of our veterans are honored and remembered. During our second year, we expanded our reach to also support the Castle Rock Police Officers Foundation, helping to provide resources and assistance to the officers who keep our streets safe.

Caring for Our K9 Officers

Our second year introduced a partnership with Friends of Douglas County K-9 (K9 Friends), an organization dedicated to supporting the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit. The connection was so strong that we are thrilled to welcome them back as our beneficiary for this year’s tournament. Supporting the safety and well-being of these brave animals and their handlers is a cause that resonates deeply with our team.

Partners in Progress

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our title sponsors. They have stepped up year after year to lead the charge.

  • Year One: We began this journey with Holcim (now known as Amrize) as our very first Title Sponsor. Their early belief in this event helped set the foundation for our success.
  • Years Two and Three: For the past two tournaments, Denver Winwater has been our Title Sponsor, demonstrating an incredible commitment to our shared goals of community service and philanthropy.

Moving Forward Together

As we look toward the fairway of our fourth year, we are filled with gratitude and anticipation. The success of this tournament is a direct reflection of the heart and soul of our community.

Whether you have been with us since the first drive or are joining us for the first time this year, thank you. You are helping us build a legacy of care, support, and inclusiveness. We look forward to seeing everyone on the course as we continue this wonderful tradition of giving back.
