We are incredibly proud of our Texas Division for achieving a significant milestone, 650,000 work hours without a Lost Time Incident (LTI). This achievement reflects our team’s daily commitment and professionalism of every team member, foreman, superintendent, and project team across HEI Civil. This milestone represents more than a statistic; it highlights the consistent effort, awareness, and accountability demonstrated by every team member, every single day, across all our projects.
Safety is not just a requirement, it’s a culture. This milestone proves that when we plan the work, identify hazards, and follow controls, we protect our people and strengthen the foundation of our company.
This achievement would not have been possible without our incredible Texas Safety Department. Their dedication in the field, proactive engagement with crews, and commitment to reinforcing safe work practices have been instrumental in sustaining our success.
Our field teams also deserve recognition for their diligence in reporting all incidents and preplanning their work accordingly. Their transparency and communication are vital in identifying potential hazards before they lead to injuries. This proactive approach continues to strengthen our culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Our Safety Department partners closely with Operations to expand field training opportunities across all projects and crews. Upcoming training sessions will be focused on task-specific hazards, Trench Safety, Confined Space Entry, and crew engagement, ensuring every team has the knowledge and tools needed to work safely and efficiently.
As we move further into 2026, the Texas Safety Team is increasing their field audit presence to continue strengthening hazard identification, accountability, and jobsite standards. With the continued support of our superintendents and crews, we remain committed to the principle that guides every operation: Safety First. Quality & Production Always.
